C. Wet Felting
Step 1: Add water & soap
- Cover project with mesh.
- Dissolve soap in warm water.
- Drip lightly over wool (don’t soak).
Step 2: Press
With wet hands, gently press fibers together. Add more water if needed.
Step 3: Agitate
Rub in circles or back-and-forth on the mesh. Lift mesh occasionally so it doesn’t stick.
- Keep going until fibers hold together.
- Try the pinch test: if fibers lift as one, you’re done!
Step 4: Rinse & squeeze
Rinse gently in warm water, then squeeze (don’t wring).
